Shastrang Indian Modern Martial Art Launches Nari Suraksha Abhiyan (NSA): Empowering Girls through Self-Defense Training and Career Opportunities.

Panchkula, June 26, 2023 – Shastrang Indian Modern Martial Art, a renowned martial arts organization, has recently introduced an empowering program called Nari Suraksha Abhiyan (NSA) under Shastrang Indian Modern Martial Art. The program aims to provide free self-defense training to underprivileged girls in the country, while also offering them the opportunity to become martial arts instructors, thereby opening doors to a promising career path.

Under the leadership of Grandmaster Bikram S. Thapa, Shastrang Indian Modern Martial Art has been making significant strides in promoting self-defense skills and empowering individuals. Recognizing the need to prioritize the safety and well-being of girls, the organization has launched the Nari Suraksha Abhiyan, which translates to "Women's Protection Campaign.

The NSA program, headquartered at Sco-193, Sector 16, Panchkula, is designed to equip girls from economically disadvantaged backgrounds with essential self-defense techniques. In addition to building their confidence and physical strength, the program also offers them the opportunity to become martial arts instructors, thus providing a potential career avenue for those interested.

Grandmaster Bikram S. Thapa shared his enthusiasm for the initiative, stating, "The Nari Suraksha Abhiyan is a landmark program that aims to empower girls by imparting self-defense skills. Since the launch of NSA, 15 girls have already begun their martial arts training at Shastrang's headquarters in Panchkula. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum, covering various forms of self-defense techniques, including strikes, blocks, and grappling maneuvers. Moreover, participants receive guidance on developing mental resilience and learning situational awareness to better navigate potential threats.

The initiative has garnered widespread appreciation and support from the community. Local leaders, NGOs, and individuals alike have expressed their admiration for Shastrang's efforts in empowering girls through self-defense training and career prospects.

Preeti Sharma, a parent of one of the girls enrolled in the NSA program, shared her gratitude, stating, "I am incredibly thankful to Shastrang for providing this opportunity to my daughter.
